Session Descriptions:
Workshop Track 1: Mastering the Benchling Platform
Registry and Inventory
Registration and inventory management are at the heart of Benchling’s life sciences R&D cloud. This workshop will cover best practices for capturing and searching for data in Benchling, as well as the fundamentals of creating a data model for life science R&D.
Advanced Molecular Biology
Molecular biology research is more complex than ever, and research teams need automated, high-throughput tools for sequence design and workflow management. This workshop will showcase Benchling's advanced molecular biology toolset, and offer guidance for users moving from legacy molecular biology software to the Benchling platform.
Workshop Track 2: Integrating and Extending the Benchling Platform
Benchling's Developer Platform
Benchling’s developer platform enables users to integrate custom software, external databases, and standalone informatics tools. This workshop will explore common use cases of the developer platform, and emerging applications in lab automation and high-throughput R&D.
Reporting and Analytics
Reporting and analytics in Benchling enables users to optimize R&D operations, analyze data across experiments, and get a real-time picture of how scientists are using the platform. This workshop will introduce users to running queries in Benchling's SQL warehouse, and highlight common reporting and analytics use cases.
